We know the impact of exercise and activity on our good health and the way it helps protect us from conditions ranging from heart disease to dementia. It seems we can add Covid-19 to the list. We’ve been following research which has looked at the impact of lifestyles, and crucially active lifestyles, on recovery from Covid.

Last month the British Journal of Sports Medicine reported on a study which had found consistent activity can increase the odds of us ending up in hospital with Covid-19, while those leading healthy lifestyles can reduce their risk of serious illness as a result of the virus. The study looked at nearly 50,000 adults with a Covid-19 diagnosis.
