Hello from Halo. While we continue to learn how to live with Covid-19 we've made some important changes to our centres so that you can enjoy safe visits.

What to expect when your visit your local Halo centre:

Guidance for England

  • SAFETY FIRST

    We have been working diligently with UK Active, Community Leisure UK, sports governing bodies, government and health authorities to ensure Covid secure measures are in place and we will continue to do so.

    Wearing is CARING

    A face covering is strongly recommended in this building
    Because it's the right thing to do
    Halo colleagues may choose to wear a face mask & will wear a mask if you ask them to
    Please remove your face mask before starting exercise.

  • YOU WILL NEED TO PRE-BOOK

    Limits on the numbers we can accommodate in activities continue to apply to allow everyone safe and adequate space. ALL sessions should be pre-booked in order to ensure there is space for you to participate in your chosen activity. This will include Gym and Swimming.

  • BOOK USING OUR NEW APP

    The Halo Leisure App is available for all centres and is the quickest and easiest way for you to book and cancel an activity including pre-booking swimming. You can download the Halo Leisure App for free on Google Play or Apple Store - then simply search for the name of your local Halo centre.

    Need to cancel a booking? You have up to two hours before the activity start time to cancel. The easiest way to do this is on the Halo Leisure app. This allows us to offer the place to someone else.

  • ARRIVE ON TIME, CHANGED & READY FOR YOUR ACTIVITY

    Please do not arrive too early or late as we still need to control the number of customers entering and exiting the Centre. Our staff will direct you to your activity to limit queuing where possible.

    Please come ‘activity ready’ which means:

    - Come ready changed (swimming/training kit under clothing)

    - Shower before leaving home

    Showers, lockers and cubicles are available but please only use them if you really have to.

    Please arrive with your drinks bottle full, but if you need to you will be able to fill your water bottle up in the centre.

  • SANITISING STATIONS

    Please use our Sanitising Stations and hand gels when you first arrive and during your visit. We will also ask you to wipe down any equipment after use. Please spray the paper towel and wipe the equipment. We ask that you do not spray the equipment directly as this can cause damage.

  • ENHANCED CLEANING REGIME

    Our teams will be carrying out regular cleaning and disinfection regimes throughout the day, and between bookable sessions. We are also asking all customers to help us by cleaning each piece of equipment before and after their workout.

  • PERSPEX PROTECTIVE SHIELDS

    We have installed plastic protective shields at reception desks.

  • SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES

    Please continue to give other customers space. There is plenty of signage to guide you through the Centre and to remind you to keep a safe distance from staff and customers.

  • CASHLESS PAYMENTS

    To help social distancing and to cut down on hand to hand contact for our front of house colleagues, we are going to be cashless so contactless only payments please; but with pre-booked sessions you should rarely need to approach the reception desk.

  • QUESTIONS?

    We understand that you may have questions. Guidance for Wales

  • SAFETY FIRST

    Please bring your mask or face covering with you to the centre and wear it in reception and around the building, you do not have to wear it when exercising.

  • YOU WILL NEED TO PRE-BOOK

    ALL Sessions MUST be pre-booked in order to ensure there is safe and adequate space for you to participate in your chosen activity. This will include Gym and Swimming.

  • BOOK USING OUR NEW APP
