Want to give a group exercise class a go but not sure which one's for you? We've tried to give you a flavour of our fitness classes below. Still stuck? Speak to a fitness instructor at the centre and they will be happy to help you identify the right class.
Circuits - A 1 hour class with multiple exercise stations focusing on specific muscle groups and types of fitness to give you an all over calorie busting workout.
Indoor Cycling (RPM)- Indoor cycling is a group exercise class performed on stationary bikes. During the class, the instructor simulates hill-climbing, sprints, and races. You will be motivated by the instructor, the people around you, and the music.
Bodypump - The original Les Mills™ barbell class, will sculpt, tone and strengthen your entire body, fast! Focusing on low weights and high repetition movements, you'll burn fat, gain strength and quickly produce lean body muscle conditioning. To find out more click here...
Tea Dance -Tea dance is a low intensity classic dance session, you'll have fun and you won't even realise you're burning calories.
High Impact Classes
Body Attack - Body Attack™ is a 1 hour sports-inspired cardio workout that's all about improving your speed, fitness, strength and agility. You'll love the group dynamic that's at the heart of Body Attack™. To find out more click here.
H.I.I.T - HIIT is a 45 minutes total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength conditioning workout. This interval-based class combines full body strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body, improve your endurance and clear your mind.
ABsolution - A 30 minute class of hardcore abdominal work that focuses on toning and defining the abs while strengthening the back to improve posture and core strength.
Body Conditioning - Using hand weights and your own bodyweight as resistance to give you an a top to toe workout.
Low Impact Classes
Body Balance - Ideal for anyone and everyone, Body Balance™* is a 1 hour yoga-based class that will improve your mind and your body through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. To find out more click here.
Yoga - Yoga is an excellent class suitable for everyone. System of exercises for control of mind and body, improving breathing and alignment. In 1 hour we will help you to increase your flexibility and balance, relieve stress and relax!
Fitness Pilates - Pilates is a system of controlled exercises that engage the mind and condition the total body. The blend of strength and flexibility training improves posture, reduces stress and creates lean muscles without bulking up. Pilates takes a balanced approach so that no muscle group is overworked and the body moves as an efficient, holistic system in sport and daily activity. 1 hour class.
Exercise to Music (50+) - 1 hour of fun and movement to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscle strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. A chair can be used for seated or standing support.
Water Based Classes
Aqua Fit - a 45 minute workout to music that offers both cardiovascular and muscle conditioning using the water's resistance to tone the entire body which remove stress to joints.
Aqua Tone - 45 minutes to tone and sculpt your body with no impact to your joints. This water aerobics workout is a swimming blend of cardio and resistance training, and may incorporate resistance tools such as buoyant water weights and woogles.

Want a piece of the action? Members can book a class up to 7 days in advance through the book it option at the top of the screen. You don't have to be a Halo member to take part, you can enjoy classes on a pay-as-u-go basis.
