Free Swimming Intitiative

We’re proud to support the Welsh Government’s Free Swimming Initiative (FSI) for children 16 or under, and adults aged 60 or over.

In Bridgend Borough County, we currently offer 250% (21 hours) more free swimming time than that set out in the national minimum criteria for the scheme. We offer a  number of free swimming sessions on weekends throughout the year. To participate, you’ll need to register with your local pool where you’ll be given a card that allows access to the pools.Then as soon as you’ve found the best session time for you, you can take the plunge!
